Hello everyone,
Those of you who visit regularly may have noticed that I've reworked the menu and the way you navigate the site.
The goal is to give greater visibility to my Enhancement Packs: installers that bring together a carefully curated selection of community-made fixes, patches, and mods to modernize selected PC games. Depending on the game, this can range from a few essential tweaks to a more ambitious overhaul, sometimes approaching the idea of a fan remaster.
Alongside these, the Featured Games section highlights titles that I want to bring to your attention, but haven't specifically worked on myself. At most, some come with a simplified installer. You'll find free games, fan-made projects, and other curiosities worth checking out.
The Software section has also received a few minor changes. You'll now find the Steam downgrade tools there as well.
Happy browsing!

Bloodborne
ViewNot a day goes by without something new happening on the Bloodborne front! Today, Supermedo's fork has been updated to version 1.7.2, which fixes some issues affecting AMD RX 6000 graphics cards.
As for me, I've spent a lot of time working on Ultrawide support, trying to get it working without distorted textures or shimmering aliasing... Well, it finally works! Ultrawide is now supported (21:9 and 32:9), at least on the Windows version (Supermedo's fork)!
The latest version of my Enhanced Installer already includes the Ultrawide Patch.
I've also put together a Standalone Ultrawide Patch for those who don't want to reinstall everything, or who didn't use my Enhanced Installer in the first place. This patch is compatible with any manual installation of Supermedo's fork.
Have fun!

Bloodborne
ViewHello everyone!
I'm continuing to improve the installer as I receive your feedback and discover new things along the way.
Some users reported installation issues on Steam Deck when installing to an external drive or SD card. This should now be fixed.
Additionally, the rare cases where PKG extraction failed should occur even less frequently, and you will now be notified if it happens.
Finally, both ports have been updated (v0.51 on Linux and v1.7.1 on Windows).

Silent Hills P.T.
ViewYou may have seen the news over the past few days: the legendary P.T., the playable teaser for the ultimately cancelled Silent Hills, is being ported to PC!
Today, I'm sharing version v1.02, released just today, which comes with a host of bug fixes and improvements. The installer supports both Windows and Linux and will automatically detect your operating system to install the appropriate version. Of course, you'll need the original PKG file to install it.
But what a joy it is to finally experience this on PC, with 4K and ultrawide support as a bonus!
A huge shout-out to LoreanXavier, the developer behind this little miracle.

ViewThe Bloodborne PC Port Windows has just been updated to v.1.6 - and this version brings... online play (again, wow).
It is not enabled by default, as you also need to create an account on ShadNet.
If you downloaded the previous installer, nothing to do, the authors have made a self update feature so next time you run Bloodborne.exe, you'll be able to update it.

Bloodborne
ViewWell... if you had told me 3 years ago that this day would come, I would never have believed you.
And yet, after the impressive ShadPS4 emulator, some passionate developers decided to go one step further and create a native PC port of Bloodborne, reusing parts of ShadPS4 rather than starting from scratch.
And guess what... IT WORKS. And it works really damn well. They even added FSR4 and DLSS, and the aliasing that has always been pretty rough in this game is now almost completely gone.
So here is my little installer to make the installation, configuration, and addition of a few graphics and QoL improvements as easy as possible.
And for those who have never played it: welcome to Yharnam, hunters!

ViewHi,
Not a new feature in this update (v26.10.4), but the Ultrawide Fix should now survive future game updates :)
All you'll need to do is click "Apply" again in MulderConfig, and everything should work right away.
For the curious ones, the reason why it now survives game updates is that I've added pattern scanning to MulderConfig for the hex edit.
Have a good day,

Condemned: Criminal Origins
ViewHello everyone,
Following a few requests, I've taken another look at the Condemned Enhancement Pack and decided to give it a complete overhaul.
The pack has been quite popular over the months, but it was starting to show its age. It was actually created before MulderConfig even existed, so I decided to rebuild the whole thing from scratch.
The new version also brings a number of improvements, including enhanced shaders through Sikkmod, better anti-aliasing with DxWrapper, EAX support via DSOAL, and various other fixes and improvements.
While comparing the Steam and Retail versions of the game, I also discovered something rather surprising: the Steam version is actually an older build (v1.0.314 instead of v1.0.320). This was the reason I previously included ThirteenAG's missing sounds pack. However, this is no longer necessary, as the Enhancement Pack now automatically updates the game to v1.0.320.
This also fixes the broken menus that can occur when playing the game in languages other than English.
So, I think we've ended up with something pretty close to the definitive Condemned Enhancement Pack. :)
Have fun!

Resident Evil HD Remaster
ViewHello everyone,
I'm back, well rested after a few days off! I hope you're all doing well.
Modder Arcturium recently updated his "RESCALE" texture pack, now at version 2, which further improves the quality of the backgrounds. He has also released a new mod, "True 4K", which increases the rendering resolution of the assets (mainly the characters), adding more detail and greatly reducing aliasing on the characters. As before, it is also possible to enable dgVoodoo2's MSAA in MulderConfig for an even cleaner image.
Have fun, and thanks to Arcturium for his excellent work and continued support for this game!

Hi everyone,
The website is experiencing some slowdowns today. I've already made a temporary fix that helps a little, and everything should be back to normal tomorrow.
At the same time, I've made a nice change for people who can't reach Cloudflare at all, or can reach it but at very slow speeds. Now, all MulderLoad installers and downgraders will automatically detect these issues and fall back to alternative servers. After a few failed attempts, they will stop trying Cloudflare altogether. I hope download speeds will now be good for everyone.
Have a good day,

I'll continue to improve Linux and Steam Deck support over the coming days.

Thanks a lot for all your positive feedback on the Steam Downgrader, the Steam Guide has already reached 5 stars!
Thanks also to everyone who has supported me on Ko-fi . I reply to everyone, but since many donations are from guests, I'm not sure if they can see my replies. This is still pretty new to me! I haven't even had the time to mention it here yet, and I've already received many coffees, so thanks!
As for the changes to the downgrader, they are mainly bug fixes and crash fixes for the few people who were experiencing problems. I think it should now work even better. I've detailed all the changes directly on the page.

Fallout 4
ViewHi everyone! I've just added an option to the downgrader to keep the Creation Club content. This is not what I recommend, as it means you won't have a pure downgrade anymore, and you'll need the Backported Archive2 Support System. So, if you're not sure which option to choose, choose No. But at least the option is there for those who want it.
