Aliens: Colonial Marines

Aliens: Colonial Marines is a FPS released in 2013, developed by Gearbox Software & TimeGate Studios published by SEGA for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Taking place in 2179, the game is a sequel to the second alien movie ("Aliens") and takes place after the death of Ellen Ripley in Alien 3. You play as Corporal Christopher Winter, part of a detachment of Colonial Marines dispatched to LV-426 to investigate the loss of the USS Sulaco. Upon arrival, they quickly discover that the Weyland-Yutani Corporation has been secretly breeding and researching Xenomorphs on both the Sulaco and the moon below.

The game was not well received, mostly due to bugged xenomorphs AI, and graphics downgrade from the demo. The Stasis Interrupted DLC, however, is much better, with a little "Alien Isolation" feel.

Today, there are community patches for this game, most notably the "ACM Overhaul Mod", which greatly improves the game's quality. It's still not an exceptional game, but it's a 7/10 imo, and if you like the Alien franchise, I highly recommend playing it.
